TECH & THE SELF

The question posed to the public was “How does technology define our collective understanding of the self?” The space at Sockerbruket 22, Gothenburg Sweden was made viewable to the public from January 16th 2021-to January 30th. This group show contained the works of ten artists living and working in Sweden. The works were a majority of selected pieces from each artist’s ongoing projects. Some of the works were commissioned specifically for the exhibition through close collaboration with the show’s curator Lillian Wyse. The exhibition’s branding was designed by Noemi Gottardi and the copy created by Miranda Rendahl.

The works selected for this exhibition were received through an open call for artists to apply with a project proposal.
